Health Regulations
Health requirements are prescribed by the School Health Authorities of the State of Kuwait. Periodical check-ups including X-ray examination and preventive inoculation are administered by the Ministry of Health, Kuwait.
Parents are not permitted to send their children to school if they are medically unfit or until isolation period is over in the case of infectious diseases like measles, mumps and chicken pox. The isolation period is set at 10 days.
The school administration reserves the right to send a child back home if considered medically unfit with the request that he/she does not attend school till a specified date.
Basic first-aid and nursing facilities, as prescribed by Ministry of Education, are provided in the school.
The school does not accept responsibility for direct treatment
The school also does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for accidents that may happen or any disease that may be contracted by any child or person, either travelling to or from school, either during or after school hours, or any other occasion.
Application for leave of absence from school on medical grounds for periods exceeding a day must be supported by a medical certificate. |
