THE INDIAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL, KUWAIT

ICSK JUNIOR CELERATES ETHNIC DAY

On Wednesday, 29th April 2015, the pre-primary section of the Indian Community School Kuwait Junior celebrated 'Ethnic day' - a celebration of diverse Indian culture. ICSK students showcased their best cultural and typical outfit representing different Indian statesand various ethnic groups. The political map of India with physical features depicting the glorious cultural heritage was also displayed.Children asked questions as they learnt important facts on each group. With immense joy in their hearts and beaming smiles, the courtyard was an evidence of miniature India.

Ethnic Day celebration, as special day in school, is a good means of appreciating and paying a tribute to our roots. It is even more significant in today's world as people are moving away from their own culture and history. Ethnic day, thus, gave a wonderful opportunity for parents of school community to acknowledge and glorify diversity.

The mind blowing special day indeedbrought glamour to the ICSK Junior School campus.
