Our faculty has four locations that provide the best education to the children of Indian nationals that reside in the State of Kuwait. Since the school belongs to the Indian Community, admission is granted to all Indian students without pre assessment. This gives every student the opportunity to achieve results to the best of their capacity. Our teachers provide good education, training and remedial classes to those that require. Co-curricular activities also play a key role in the development and accomplishment of students. 

Biology - Mr. Soji Philip

Mr. Soji started his teaching career in Emerald Heights International School, Indore, Madhya Pradesh from 1992 to 1999. He joined The  Indian Community School in 1999 as a teacher of Biology at the Senior Secondary level. He has coordinated student development programmes,  is the academic coordinator of Computer Aided Teaching programme, and an active participant in organizing co- curricular activities of the school.  He isa member of the School CBSE Examination committee.

Chemistry - Mrs. Shyna Ramesh

Shyna Ramesh post-graduated in Organic Chemistry with specialization in drugs and dyes from St. Xavier’s college, Ahmedabad and took B Ed from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Mrs. Ramesh started her career in the secondary section at R. B Shirke School, Maharashtra, where she worked for a span of two years and thereafter in Nirmala Public School, Kerala.
Further to her decade long academic prowess, as a graduate in traditional Indian dances- Bharathanatyam and Kuchippudi from Mudra School of Arts .  Mrs. Ramesh has  been an active component of the cultural programmes in all the schools she had worked in.
She feels her prominent contribution was in helping her students to redress the bottlenecks in academics particularly in her subject along with the other members of faculty,thereby bettering the students’ grade as evidenced in the exam results of the previous year. Shyna believes in education being key in all round development of an individual.

Commerce - Mrs. Usha Ramasubramaniam



 
Mrs Usha Ramasubramaniam holds a Post-Graduate degree in commerce from the university of Madras
A Dedicated professional with more than fifteen years of teaching. She is also proficient in specialized coaching and offering guidence to student.
She is an active member of the student Developement programme in ICSK for the past six years. Integral participation in the school senate adds to her caliber.
The Motto held up is to help students to achieve an overall improvement in their personality and academic performance

Mr. Mathew is teaching classes XI & XII in the Senior girls branch for the past 18 years with total experience of 27 years in the Department of Computer Science & Informatics Practices.  Mr. Mathew has worked as assistant professor of Computer Science in the New College Chennai for 5 years and in St. Johns Senior school, Chennai for 4 years. Mr. Mathew is the technical coordinator for Computer Aided Teaching, Computerized report card printing and all other Computer related services. Worked as a member of school CBSE  Examination committee.

Mrs. Viplesh Galhotra is working in this prestigious institution as HOD of the Hindi department and have completed nearly 31 years. She considers school as her second home, and feel proud to serve her motherland by teaching Hindi, the national language, in a foreign country. 

Mrs. Galhotra believes in the all round development of the students and has been a part of organizing many extra curricular activities. Her true mission in life is to encourage love, peace, and unity where ever possible.

Social Science - Mrs. Gomathy Krishnamurthy

Inception of the teaching career in Bombay in 1973 as a lecturer in the History Department in Burhani College, University of Bombay. Since the year 1975, she has been an integral part of The Indian Community School, and have served the school with utmost passion, teaching both the Secondary and the Senior Secondary section. With a break in service she rejoined in the year 1979 and after the liberation of Kuwait in 1992. 

She has conducted workshops, Computer aided Teaching classes and demonstration classes as part of staff improvement programs. Mrs. Murthy has co-ordinated and organized many activities & Student Development programmes of the school.  To make teaching / learning a pleasant experience she has brought out two teaching manuals for Social Science department.  With over three decades of dedicated service she has the privilege to teach the second generation of students in the contemporary period.
