ICSK Junior celebrated Kindergarten Graduation Day on the February 19th, 2024. Graduation is one of the most anxiously awaited occasions for kindergarten students. It is an exciting milestone for upper primary students as it’s their first step towards a future full of hopes, aspirations, and possibilities. It marks a new beginning that adds new dimensions to their school life as they embark on their journey towards enhanced education and knowledge.
The program commenced with the Islamic prayer followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting by the chief guest Dr. Pramod Menon.
The entire program was anchored by the little stars of kindergarten who had put up a great show, altogether. Principal Ms. C. Sheeja welcomed the gathering and congratulated the little graduates along with their parents on this momentous occasion and appreciated their involvement in their child’s learning. She congratulated the teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and other co-curricular activities.
The chief guest, in his address, said that managing a child’s behavior is a key role for all parents. Parents should spend valuable time with their children. They should be given the confidence that their parents are there for them at any time and can approach them during any adverse situations. Parents should give a chance to their children to get exposure to all possible things to tune themselves in every situation. He also praised the children for putting up the show smartly and diligently.
Our tiny tots looked attractive in their graduation robes and caps. They carried themselves with great pride and dignity as if trying to say that they were self-assured to carry the responsibilities of grade 1.
Celebration is an occasion for enjoyment as well as a mode of expressing values. Graduation day was all about showcasing the kid’s talents through their performances. The students performed dances on peppy numbers expressing their joy, which was show-stealing and heart-touching. Their energy and vibrancy enthralled the audience. Our kindergarten students made us extremely proud by participating actively and enthusiastically.
Their oratory skills need to be applauded, for these young graduates delivered their reminiscence speech with great confidence. They shared their transformation and learning experiences, which gave an insight into their progression and development. Their expression was highly commendable, as they gave a picturesque glimpse of their journey in kindergarten. It stole the hearts of all present there.
All the UKG students in their graduation dresses with tassels on their right, received graduation certificates from the chief guests and the principal. It was a moment that added charm to the atmosphere with students feeling a sense of achievement. More than the students, it was a big procurement for the parents, which was exhibited on their faces.
To capture the moment on this auspicious day, a photo booth was set up for parents to click pictures of the young graduates. This will definitely remain a cherished memory in the days to come.
The icing on the cake was a very special foot-tapping number by the teachers as a token of love for the charming young souls.
The event was a huge success as a result of efforts put together by the entire KG family. The program ended with a special dance performance by the teachers. To express our gratitude the chief guest, Dr. Pramod Menon was presented with the lucky bamboo shoots, a symbol of good luck and prosperity. It is also an extension of the plantation drive taken by the ICSK family a couple of years back.
Mrs. Santhikrishna, Deputy Vice Principal, proposed the vote of thanks to proclaim that when multiple hands come together challenging tasks become a piece of cake.
The day ended with all glittering stars carrying a feeling of happiness and fulfillment within themselves.
