The Indian Community School, Senior hosted ‘Titan 2K26’, an interschool youth leadership competition organized by the Department of Commerce on 24th September 2026. The event brought together 30 talented participants from 16 Indian schools across Kuwait, providing them with a platform to demonstrate their leadership, strategic thinking, communication skills and entrepreneurial abilities.
The programme commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by an august welcome address by Dr. V. Binumon, Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK, who warmly welcomed the gathering. A vibrant classical dance performance then captivated the audience and added a graceful cultural touch to the opening ceremony. Ms. Musarrat Parkar, Head of the Commerce Department, introduced the distinguished judging panel comprising C.A. Sonali Jagath, Senior Finance Controller at Gulf University of Science & Technology; Mr. Munaf Tisekar, Deputy General Manager – Investments at Al Dhow Holding (ALSAYER Group); and C.A. Mathew Varghese Parakkatt, Senior Director of Corporate Finance. A student skit focusing on leadership and sustainability further set the tone for the competition.
The contestants competed through four challenging knockout rounds designed to test their professional and leadership capabilities. In the first round, ‘Ignite the Stage’, participants delivered three-minute elevator pitches presenting social-impact concepts without revealing their school affiliations. The second round, ‘Command the Crisis’, assessed their ability to respond swiftly and strategically to unexpected leadership situations. In the third round, ‘Seal the Deal & Brave the Panel’, contestants presented digital sales pitches covering product design, pricing and market potential, followed by a demanding question-and-answer session with the judges. The final round, ‘The Ultimatum’, saw the top three finalists respond to a common strategic question from ‘The Big Boss’ after being given three minutes to formulate their answers.
After a keenly contested competition showcasing innovation, confidence and strategic thinking, Mahir Ayman of Gulf Indian School emerged as the Grand Champion of Titan 2K26. Sachin Ullas of New Gulf Indian School was declared First Runner-Up, while Hamza Hozefa of Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School secured the Second Runner-Up position. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Susan Rajesh, Vice Principal. Participants and mentors appreciated the well-organized competition, highlighting the valuable learning opportunities, practical exposure and industry interaction it provided to aspiring young leaders.
‘Titan 2K26’ concluded on a high note, leaving participants with valuable insights into leadership, innovation and decision-making in a competitive environment. The event not only celebrated young talent but also provided students with meaningful exposure to real-world corporate challenges, inspiring them to develop confidence, creativity and a forward-thinking approach as they prepare to take on leadership roles in the future.
