Throughout the week, students were encouraged to consume plenty of water, include fruits and vegetables, choose nutritious whole grains and millets, and limit sugary drinks, packaged snacks and highly processed foods. The initiative also emphasized the importance of making healthy eating a family habit and involving children in choosing and preparing nutritious foods.
